June 28, 2010My favorites of Cooper at three months.
Holding a sweet little baby up on your should like this is one of the best feelings in the world.
After my family session at BoBrooks Farm, I wanted some time to go back and pick berries with my boys. Plus, in the two days that had passed I had already eaten a lot of what I picked after the session. 
So the boys and I made an early morning trip out and they loved it. Sam isn’t that hot with his colors, so he picked more green berries than blue. But he had fun while doing it. Gabe was a great little worker for me and loved it also. He claimed he’s now a farmer on they way home. I think it takes a little more work than that, but who am I to tell him that.
Gabe had a little crazy bedhead going on, but that’s how we roll, its us.
Oh my baby. Please please stay a baby a little longer. That little roll on his neck tells me he still is. XOXOXO Love both my boys so much!
This family were among some of my very first subjects and I love photographing them as their family grows. We met for this session at BoBrooks farm which is near Pinacle State Park. Its a wonderful, beautiful berry farm and I just adored shooting there. I came home with lots of berries and the boys and I went back a few days later for some more! If you have time in the next week, go out at see them, its short drive and makes a fun thing to do with kids.
Little man just wanted to make sure he was in the frame. Its so cute, I was down on the ground, just to get at their level and he crouched down like that just like I was. I’m often rolling around in the grass during family and children sessions and actually, at the end of this one I was asked how I got that dirty. A little dirt is soooo worth it.
This little honey is a firecrackerdarlingbabysweetassugar sister. I love her tiny but big personality.
This family is really really good at loving each other. They have fun with each other and I’m glad I get to document that for them.
This is the third time I’ve gotten to photograph this beautiful family. I’ve loved growing with them and now its time for them to grow and move on to a new city. I was so happy they asked me help document and remember some of their favorite memories about their home and family here in Little Rock. Here are a few of my favorite images from the session.
Little bit down there – She’s 9 months and she walks. And she walks like a pro. Its so stinkin cute. She just toddles around after her siblings wherever they go. And that sweet brother and sister help and cuddle and I think they just make the perfect trio.
On the front steps of their home, the place where they’ve welcome home babies and watched babies grow into children. Its a place they’ve laughed, cried, loved, hosted friends, invited family, called a refuge. Its home. sweet. home. I know their move is going to take them to a new home where more precious memories will be made. The wonderful things that have happen in these walls will move with them. Its such a sweet time, I loved that they asked to have part of their session here. It was perfect.

Here are my very favorite images from this session. There is something so moving to me in this set of photos. Maybe its because we have this little tradition at our house too, as I imagine many families do. Or maybe because I see my own children growing and realize how fast time has flown since I first saw their tiny, beautiful faces. Whatever the reason, I love these images. They are just so tender and so real.
